In the documentary series One More Week, children between the ages of 10 and 13 are followed in the week before an exciting event. An event that turns life upside down for a moment. How do they deal with that?

During the third season I hung out with Jurian from Urk. Jurian (13) comes from a large fishing family. He also plans to become a fisherman himself. but he still had some doubts. Doubts about the work itself, about seasickness and about all the rules on board. I followed him during the week prior to his first fishing trip on the raging North Sea with his father.

During the fourth season I followed Julie (10) in her preparations for her first large national kickboxing competition. A girl in a boy's world who knows very well how to stand up for herself.
